Creative High School Piece - Harmony Skatepark.

Harmony Skatepark was a project which i developed in high school, and was submitted as my major work for Industrial Technology - Graphics. It is an architectural project which was hypothetically situated in the city of Parramatta and was drawn on Vectorworks and Sketchup - with the project management folio done in other formatting applications. The above image contains 2 of the 8 posters which were used in the final presentation of the project - which takes interior perspectives of the structure to outline the facilities available.


Fallingwater (USA) by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater was a building I discovered in 2004, and the one which inspired me to become and architect. The idea of building a house in a natural forest over a waterfall feature had captivated me instantly as it formed an enlightening aura towards the design of the building. The construction techniques that had to be used i assumed were extremely technical through conserving the landscape. The fragemented form of the building I found aesthetically appealing as it combined the horizontal structure of typical contemporary buildings with the sculptural aspect of abstract and deconstructivist buildings.

Original Photograph.

This is an original photograph which was taken at a park near my house. The dusty path in the photo diverges into the forest as the absence of urbanism makes the persona's actions indefinite. The dominating nature induces a tranquil essence within the photo and collaborates with the midday sunlight to imply the innocence of human nature - which makes it beautiful since it unveils a selfless aspect of man-kind.
